Our condolences to all the family. Good memories of Pee Wee as one of our favorite hockey players even though we did come from Gore Bay!

PeeWee was a good neighbour (he and Ting lived further up Meredith Street than Di and me). And I especially got to know him well from the Legion (playing euchre with him, Harold Morphet and Joe Hannah, among many others) and the Curling Club (he was a good Liars Dice player as well as a curler).

Oliver Family,

My deepest condolences,,,,, PeeWee was one of the first I met when moving to the Island and became a good friend.

I will, as others in construction, miss him, checking up on us with his
Experienced eye, as we build !  Lol

I could not attend the funeral due to being, out of country.

Again, Avery good and enjoyable friend,

Ting and Family
So very sorry to hear of Pee Wee passing. Was unable to attend the funeral but wanted to leave some fond memories of such a great person.
Pee Wee was one of those people who had so many things to learn from. Starting out in construction I had the opportunity to learn from Pee Wee first hand how to deal with people.  He told me when he thought I was wrong and complemented me when he saw something he liked. His stories were epic, especially the ones surrounding his early hockey career.  He had one of the most friendly personalities of anyone I have ever met. When we would arrive into Little Current in the summer, somehow Pee Wee knew we were arriving and would be waiting at the marina with a warm greeting. Then off on his scooter for another visit.
He was a great friend of my father Monty and helped out at the summer camp for many years.  His presence in Little Current will be dearly missed by all of the Monteith Family.
