Dear Helen
Thinking of you & wishing you strength, peace & many fond memories of good times you shared with Austin.  I remember the fun times Bob, my 2 boys & I had visiting you - the kids sleeping in a tent outside, our long walks & discussions.  You were a wonderful loving wife. I know Austin will be missed.

Helen my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.  I remember Austin for 2 things, waiting for you in his car after church and chatting with him on the boardwalk by the post office.  He was a wonderful man.

My sincere condolences.  I wish you strength and fond memories during this difficult time.  It was always comforting to see Austin greet my family and I after a long trip home to Little Current. He will be missed.

Helen and David,

Years ago I was at the CNE in Toronto with a friend and happened to spot Austin in an antique car parade. I waved and called out and he quickly invited us to pull out the rear jump seat and join him for the rest was of the parade. It was, I learned, a typically Austin thing to do - fun, spontaneous, kind and generous. That’s how I’ll remember him. Sending you love and sympathy,
Carrie Forrester (Nola’s granddaughter), Wolfville NS
