Ivan my friend, I was very saddened by the news of your passing.  I always looked forward to spending time with you on my yearly visit to Lake Wabatongushi.  I looked forward to our daily fishing trips and spending time with you in the boat or when you came to visit us in our cabin.

I remember our walk to Agawa Bay to see the pictographs of Mishipeshu.

Your knowledge of life and your stories have stayed with me since our first meeting and will always be with me.  I can honestly say that I considered you a very special friend.

I will never forget you or that great smile of yours!  I will truly miss you my friend...rest in peace Ivan!
