We have known Kay for so very many years and it was good to see her at the Manor whenever we visited there.   Kay lived a long and interesting life. May she rest in peace.

Kathleen will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her and loved her. She was always so positive and cheerful and loved to talk about her many interesting life adventures. My Mother Faye Chatwell was Blessed by her genuine friendship, love and kindness while they were room mates in the nursing home. I will always be THANKFUL for her and remember her as a beautiful Guardian Angel.

I used to spend time on the farm with Kay and Lorne as a youngster.  I would watch Kay separate cream into butter, eat her delicious home made doughnuts and years later came to appreciate her amazing pumpkin pies and the love she put into their vegetable garden allowing me to eat as many peas as I could find.  My parents bought their property from Kay and Lorne and they moved closer to us before Lorne died.  I got to ride the hay wagon up to Ten Mile Point and bottle feed baby lambs in the late afternoon sun.  Kay's hugs were the best and I'm sorry that I didn't get to spend any time with her in her later years.  Always fondly loved and remembered.  Lise xo
