So sorry to hear of Royce's passing.  Bill and I enjoyed Royce's friendship.  We curled with him and went fishing with him and enjoyed his company when he visited, usually after a trip to Gore Bay with Verna.  He was such a joy to have at the Friendship Club gatherings, always having that little smile, a funny story, and of course salmon sandwiches to each meeting. He was a kind and generous person, and we will miss him.

To the family of Royce please except our condolences a this time of his passing. Royce was a gentle man with a heart of gold a true warm smile and a very kind and thoughtful man. Was always a pleasure to talk with Royce and hear that little chuckle he would give you after he told you some thing funny. Rest in Piece with your brothers together again.

To the Van Zant family.  So sorry for your loss.  He was a kind and gentle man who was always proud and happy with the accomplishments of his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.  When I (Phoebe) was growing up, my family spent a lot of time with Burk and Harriet at their camp at Lake Manitou and Royce was always popping around, ready to go fishing or hunting or just to help out. He will be missed.  A long life, well lived.  Thoughts and prayers are with you all at the memorial service on May 21st.   Don, Phoebe , Michael and Thomas
