In Loving Memory of
Lenore Cecilia Yvette Jackson
Wasse Abino Kwe "Noree Jaye"
June 13, 1995 - January 9, 2021

Beloved daughter of Monica Jackson and Maxie Jacobs (predeceased) of Sagamok and Leonard Squires of Sheguindah.

Honourary Mother and Father Auntie Roberta (Zaben) and Uncle Lloyd Recollet who have been there for her each summer by providing her a home away from home.

Dear sister to Kelly and Dixie Jackson of Toronto, Maxine, Andrea and Jake Jacobs of Sagamok and Toronto and Shawnee Pitawanakwat of Toronto, Nahanni Shoefly and Stefan and Molly Squires.

Loving auntie to Jeremiah and Karlee.

Predeceased by her grandparents Eli & Elizabeth Jackson and Lorraine Barefoot & Fraser Squires.

God daughter to Laura Jackson and Dallas Recollet.

Lovingly remembered by many aunties, uncles and cousins especially Megan, Maisie, Raeann, Raven and Bedahbin; who she also considered as sisters and her best friend Jamie Dutra. She will be missed by many friends and extended family as well as the family she made on the streets of Toronto.

Lenore was a proud Anishnaabe kwe and Indigenous Rights Activist. Some of her proud moments she had were Occupy INAC and Solidarity with Standing Rock. She enjoyed doing beadwork, drumming, attending protests, taking part in Round Dancing, going to concerts, playing football and loved her food. She was a great friend and offered to help at any moment, even if she did not have much. Her laugh and humor will be greatly missed by one and all.
Rest in Paradise Noree Jaye.
