My sincere sympathy to all of Jean's family. Jean was a hard worker and was always there for you if you needed help. She did homecare and her clients always got the best from her work ethics to her delicious meals and baking. She certainly was an Angel among us. May the many great memories you all have of special times help you now and in the days ahead as you begin your journey without her. Hugs to all.

Jean used to refer to and call my colleagues "Blue Birds" Her laugh was infectious.. I would hazard a guess she gave, if not half, a heap of her own personal self, emotionally, personally and wealth to those around her.. She never, to my knowledge would fault anyone who would steal from her, as she felt they needed it more than her. She would drop everything and come to help a friend or stranger without question or thought of compensation. Her helping attitude and actions were like a sponge and soaked up the worries and concerns of all around her. Jean always came to life in her family and it was and will be easy to see her live on, in them. Jean, isn't from Manitoulin Island, she IS Manitoulin Island...
