My sincerest sympathies to the whole family. I am lucky and honoured to have two of Stanley's paintings on my wall; one was gifted to me by Nancy Hare, a beautiful painting of Wild Spirit, and the other one I purchased for myself. Heaven has gained a bright shining talented light, and we will honour him as often as we can.

I am so sorry to hear of Stan's death. He was and always will be my friend. We shared many good times together especially at camp. He had the biggest grin on his face when he first called me Gatorade - a name that sticks even today. He always liked to joke, have fun, and beat me in pool. He loved his country music and at one time I remember him playing a cassette of Dwight Yoakam for weeks at a time. Stan set his own path in life, and I'm proud to have walked with him for awhile.

My sincere condolences to all of Stan's family and friends.

Stanley's paintings on canvas and rocks surround me here at Southbay Gallery in South Baymouth. I am clearing our main window here in the gallery, to make a special tribute to honor him. He was was my own mother's favorite artist.

Stan's painted stones and beautiful paintings, all over the world, will make sure that his spirit lives on.

My mother, Carol Blane (82 years old), was a huge fan of Stan's art. She said it was the high point of her summer to meet him at Lillian's this year. The cashier ran out in the road, flagged him down, and he graciously came in and spoke with her for quite a while. It was so nice that he shared his time and himself with her. Thank you, Stan.

I have known Stan since 1991 when I purchased several pieces of his artwork. I have since purchased many more pieces and enjoy them very much. We will miss his infrequent visits and they alway ended in a laughing fit with all of us. May your spirit sail to the heavens.

Dear Family,

I am sorry to hear the news of your loss. In his memory, I am donating some of his works from my collection to PARO. The funds collected from the auction will go to Indigenous programming. His work is appreciated and is enjoyed by so many!

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
