I worked at the WNH for 4 years some time ago, I was the receptionist in front where the residents visited & met for fun and laughter. I got to know Howie as a very clever and down to earth man. His character and laughter was always a heart warming reflection of his wit. My son who was then 6 yrs old son would come visit me after work every day and he played catch with Howie in the WNH. They sure made the place enjoyable when they played ball.

My condolences to his family and friends. He sure will be truly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to all the family. We will miss howie at the home. Especially his laughter. His humour. Talking about the sports who lost and win. And when he went shopping to esponala he would bring donuts shared with them. Sorry we can't be there. But we will be thinking of you's as you say your final farewell. May God Bless you's he was one of a kind.

My deepest sympathy to Howard's family. He used to ride to Gore Bay with my Dad when he came up to go to school, and when he came to town he always stopped in to visit at our place. He was such a gentle soul, who loved people and enjoyed a good laugh. Howard is gone far too young and much too soon. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
