Margaret Delilah (nee Lusk) Williams - May 4, 1929 - March 27, 2017 - front page Margaret passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, on March 26, 2017 at 12:01pm, at the age of eighty-seven.
Margaret lived in M'Chigeeng with Stan as missionaries with the Northern Canada Evangelical Mission (NCEM) for almost 40 years, serving side-by-side as active missionary partners. After Stan passed away in 1998, Margaret continued to maintain an honorary position with the Mission until her passing. She walked closely with her Savior and exemplified Christian love in all she did and said.
She was raised in Footes Bay, Ontario, the daughter of a CPR train engineer, Charles Lusk, and his wife Mabel (nee Green). She was one of twelve siblings. Surviving brothers and wives and sister include: Ken Lusk, Edward Lusk, Leith and Nancy Lusk, Howard Lusk, and Violet "Jo Jo" Poitras.
Mom was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a confidant to many of her family; supporting her family whenever needed; and a prayer warrior.
Her call home was both a blessing and a sadness to her family.  Her last years were impacted by deteriorating health and her time was spent in the Centennial Manor in Little Current.  In the end, her suffering was minimal and her family had time to be with her in her final moments.
She will be missed by her children, grandchildren, chosen grandson, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family:

Gram was a wonderful and caring woman who loved her family as much as she loved God. It is with great sorrow to see her leave this world but to know she is with her Creator and Saviour lessens this somewhat. In my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences at the passing of your Mom. We all loved her at The Manor. Her smile and hymn humming will be missed. We know she is walking and laughing with your Dad and other family members gone ahead, but above all she is standing in front of our Lord and being hugged and welcomed home. Be consoled though gone in the body she is with you all in the stillness in your hearts and memories forever. Much love to all and the assurance of our prayers for the family.

I will always remember her as a strong willed, gentle spoken woman who spread love and kindness to everyone she came in contact with. All her children and grandchildren that I am blessed to know carry on the same core values that she lived. Her "personal mission" carries on to future generations.

My deepest sympathy to all family members. Marg and my mother were wonderful Christian friends and called each other often over the years. Your mom continued to call me after my mother passed and comforted me with great spiritual wisdom. She lived her faith, and your family can rest assured she is rejoicing in heaven with your dad, family and friends!!

To the Williams family:
We rejoice with you in the homegoing of your mother/grandmother. We pray that it will be an encouragement to you to know that she is in the presence of the Saviour, free of the cares of this world, and reunited with the ones she loved. We pray that you will take comfort from memories of the times your mom provided guidance and help from the Word of God. We trust you will look to the Lord during this time.

Our condolences to the family on the passing of Margaret. She was a good neighbor and friend. Stan and Margaret were welcoming to us when we moved to M’Chigeeng and we got to know the whole family. Shirley used to have frequent chats with her on the telephone throughout the years.

Long-ago memories of Stan and Marg when they were living in Wilcox Lake! Grace Church Newmarket (where I still attend) used to help out with Sunday School there. Stan and Marg were often at Grace Church, and I especially remember him coming in all his finery and we had a special service to recognize his retirement. His good friends were Pastor Jack and Ruth McClelland - Jack has gone on to Glory, and Ruth is in a Retirement Centre in Owen Sound. Our condolences, on behalf of Grace Church, to the whole family - what a legacy!
