Will always be remembered by Dave and his wife Lynn, and her

Velma enjoyed baking and canning, and spent many hours canning her garden harvest.  She was well known for her bread, and was always more than willing to spend hours making buns for various community functions.  She loved to compete in the Manitowaning and Providence Bay Fairs, and always came home with many first prizes.
She had a close bond with many of her nieces and nephews, and spent many evenings enjoying each other's company, even the odd canoe ride.
She had a kind heart, a loyal friend and was always willing to help someone in need.  She always put herself second, always worried about everyone else first.
She was always there for her grandchildren when in need and loved them dearly.
