I have fond memories of Nelson both in school when he was the Education Director and as a fellow choir member at the Little Current United Church. He was a very distinguished gentleman. My sincere sympathy is extended to his family.

To Pat and the Ward family: Bob and I are sad that your father/grandfather has passed on..We last saw Thelma and Nelson when we stayed at the cottage in 2013..I remember visits to the cottage at Thanksgiving and in the summer when we were sailing in the North Channel..The Wards were very hospitable, loving and lively..I have two coffee/tea mugs from the Little Current house so I shall think of Thelma and Nelson whenever I use the mugs..I will remember all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve your loss..Rest in peace after a life well lived Mr.Ward..Hugs to all, Dawn Cumming.
