Dear Family Members, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear loved one . Losing a loved one can be the most difficult time in a persons life. Are we not truly blessed with the hope our Creator has given us of seeing our loved ones again. His loving comfort from the scriptures brings us much relief and confidence in the blessings of Jehovah's Kingdom. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" ." I hope these scriptures from God's word have brought you some comfort and you will be able to reflect on this wonderful hope when you think of your loved one.

Occasionally I'd see Humphrey out walking and we would stop and talk. Our conversations usually centred around one of our favourite topics, the sport of boxing. Humphrey, as you know, was an excellent boxer. One time, he invited me into his home and showed me photos taken of him when he was a young fighter. I still have the brochure he gave to me the year he was inducted into the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame. You were a true gentleman, Humphrey. Rest in peace.

This poem was wrote by a Young Peacemaker a few years. We had invited Humphrey to come and tells us about his war medals and he also told us about the poppy.
I met a veteran, as kind as kind could be.
He told us he went to war so our country could be free.
Look at what he did for you and me.
I met a veteran who was brave.
Who had so many friends buried in a grave.
I met a veteran whose soul was everlasting.
It helped him while day and night went passing.
I met a veteran wearing a poppy.
He was proud as proud could be.
Then that veteran came to me, and said
Child, Canada is now free.
Janet Sagle Moreau.

We feel blessed to have had Humphrey in our lives as a Minister and a friend. Sympathies to Eunice and families.
