We are so sorry to hear that you all have lost Dell!! He will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him, and that I am sure of!! I already miss his humour and wisdom, that he was more than happy to share every time he was in the Pharmacy!! He knew that when he stopped in he was sure to leave with a smile on his face after one of our many crazy conversations!! Godspeed Dell, you have certainly left your mark on everyone who knew you!!

There are not enough words that can express our sorrow. Our hearts go out to you and all of the family. We have been privileged to have known him and always loved the teasing we've exchanged over the years. He welcomed us from day one and harassed us, with a smirk, from day two! Raking will never be the same without him around however I have no doubt he'll be "stupervising" us all from above. All the best...

To all the family, Gloria, Dixie, Mike, Blair, Trevor and their families please except our thoughts and prayers at this sudden time of Del's passing.
Only time can make the loss that you are feeling at this time a little less hard to except. Always remember we are only a call away and to live in a small town has its benefits as we all feel for your loss.

Dear Gloria and Family
It is so hard to known just what to say at this sad time because your loss is so great and Dell will be missed in so many ways. There is love that will live forever, and there are memories that will shine through the sorrow. But even though no words can truly comfort you perhaps they can in some way, express the depth of care and concern that's felt for you.
Laura and Vern Osmar.

Gloria, why is it that the best guys are the first to go? I met Dell at Inco but really got to know him best at Rainbow Ridge golf course, where he always played like the gentleman that he truly was. And he was pretty good too! Will miss him. Please let me know if there is any way I can help you.

Hi Gloria,
I knew your husband at arms length.
Your name caught my attention. Back
in 1963-64 I taught you in L.J. Atkinson.
All these years your name finally surfaced.
I do the auctions. If you are at one drop
by and say hi. My sympathies on your loss.

Dell's Family,

I wish to express my condolences to the family of Dell.
I got to know Dell through golf at Rainbow Ridge. It was always a pleasure and fun to be in his foursome. His good comments were always right on the mark and right to the point. For some the truth is hard to take but for Dell it was the only way. I know that Senior Men's golf at Rainbow Ridge is not going to be quite as much fun this summer.
Dell always had a comment for the participants in the 50/50 draw that he ran each week, but never a cruel word.
Dell will be missed.

David Rutherford [Mr. Laverty's son-in-law]
