Patrick Raphael Shawana

Passed peacefully at home in South Bay, Wikwemikong
on Saturday,
November 21, 2015
at the age of 37.

He will be missed by his two children Patrick Jr and Julie and their mother Gina
Grandson of Celina and James Pheasant and
Mary Jane Shawana (all predeceased)
Beloved son to Patrick and Arlene (predeceased) Pheasant.
Very dear brother to Jason (wife Desiree),
Curtis (predeceased) and Cheryl.
Proud uncle of Raymond, River, Ryder, Royce, Alexis, Jonah, Paradise and Blair.
Will be remembered by many aunties, uncles, cousins, and many friends and his dog Sonny.

Paco's pride and joy was his horses, he was always seen horseback riding his horse up and down the street of Wikwemikong Way.   He participated in the Fall Fair parades with his horse and loved taking kids for horse back rides.
Paco also loved his outdoor life, fishing and hunting and he loved to chat.
If it's not his horse, he was seen walking his dog "Sonny" They will indeed miss their master.

Family and friends will gather at
St Ignatius Church, Buzwah from 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday Nov 24/15
Funeral Mass
at Holy Cross Church, Wikwemikong at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov 26/15
Burial at Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery.

you were one of the kind Paco, we will surely miss your laughter n your daily visit.. i will sure miss.. the lord heard your struggles he then answer you to come home in peace n rest.. i can still hear you, all the long late night talks we had n went along your business.. rest in peace Rephael.. till we meet again...

What a great guy... will be missed, especially at all the special occasions like birthdays..and different celebrations, he was always willing to brighten up a child's day, by giving them rides on his horse.... you will be missed...

Paco was guy with the horse with a name. We used to enjoy watching one of the last riders that portrayed our proud Nishinaabe tradition. Right on Paco! Kenn and Lorraine (from way up north)

Dearest Poco:
It is indeed a sad day Poco, why geez you! You are a gentlemen and you are kind and not afraid to voice your thoughts! Especially when one is doing wrong or saying the wrong thing and hurting a friend or any person. I remember you and Genaah and your family, the love and your friendship was always respectful. I guess a higher up seen that you were getting tried and said "Time to come home "Pock" and you went gladly. Such a gentlemen, we shall miss yu and always remember you with "Good Thoughts". Always respectful Poc, you have earned your rest, we will miss but never forget you! Many Blessings from my family to yours and you can rest and take care of us from up there! Okay?
