Gladys Irene Cadieux  
Former resident of Mindemoya & Little Current
Died peacefully at Manitoulin Centennial Manor, on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at the age of 93 .
Born to Elizabeth  Hammond and Lawrence Edmond Tann, at  Sandfield Township, Manitoulin on July 16th, 1921.
Predeceased by her first husband Charlie Wood and second husband Charlie Cadieux .
Dear sister of Lorna Van Horne (predeceased),
Clifford Tann & wife Marie of Mindemoya,
Ronald Tann (predeceased) wife Ann Marie of Mindemoya.
Loved sister in law of
Bernice Sloss (husband Verdun predeceased)
Myrtle Wood both of Little Current,
and Lorne Wood & wife Marie of Sault Ste. Marie
Clayton Van Horne & Glenna
Predeceased by Len Wood (wife Betty)
Alvin Wood (1st wife Aleta) (2nd wife Stella),
Elmer (wife Doreen surviving),
Norman Wood,
Edith Bayer (husband Jack),
Florence Bayer, (husband George),
Vera Shering (1st husband Joe Armstrong )(2nd husband Monty),
Stella Wood
Will always be remembered by step children;
Rochelle & husband Wayne Neal,
Paul Cadieux & wife Margaret,
Sherry (husband Dave Hambly predeceased),
Michelle (predeceased) husband Ernie McDermid,
Pierre Cadieux & wife Theresa.
and many step grandchildren.
Will be missed by brother in law Ted Cadieux & wife Joan.
Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will gather at  Island Funeral Home from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am at Little Current United Church, Monday, October 27th, 2014  Rev. Faye Stevens officiating.  Burial will be at Mindemoya Cemetery
Donations to  MHC Aux. or Little Current United Church would be greatly appreciated.  If you would like to make a donation please bring a cheque payable to the charity of your choice.

My deepest sympathy to Cliff & Marie & all the family in the loss of Irene. I have many fond memories of Irene. She was a wonderful person, she had a great sense of humor & she was just a terrific lady!

Everyone should live their life like Irene. What a firecracker she was! She enjoyed everything and found joy in everything. Our sympathy to all family members she will be missed,but what a gift she was to all of you.

Our deepest sympathy to Cliff & Marie & all who knew & loved Aunt Irene, her humor will never be forgotten. We will remember her kindness & hospitality especially when we were together in Florida. Irene you are now in God's care & reunited with your Charlie's.

Heartfelt sympathy & condolences to Ted, Perry, Paul & families. We have many fond memories of Jean...her kindness, caring & hospitality will never be forgotten. We will certainly miss seeing her fussing around her flowers in Florida. She is now in God's care and reunited with her sisters & brother.
