Loving brother of Elizabeth (Mike predeceased) Paul of M'Chigeeng, Henry predeceased (Lynda) of Wikwemikong, Beverly (Eugene) Lekawski of St. Catherines, Glen (Regina) of Wikwemikong, Jerry (Mary) of Sudbury, Ronnie of Wikwemikong, Monica (Marc) Pheasant of Wikwemikong.
Dear brother-in-law of Jane (predeceased) Mel (predeceased) of New Liskeard, John Jr predeceased (Janet) of Kipawa, James of Ottawa, Joe of Kipawa, Mervin (Sherry) of Kipawa,
Michael (predeceased) of Kipawa.

He is survived by his Aunt Victoria Mandamin, will be sadly missed by his many Godchildren,
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mel was a great musician who enjoyed playing guitar and the steel guitar. He was a great defenseman sporting the #4 Hockey shirt for the Wiky T-Birds.  He was a wonderful, caring counsellor/bus driver for Manitoulin Secondary School for many years where he was well liked
by all the students. He was a wonderful loving husband, a father and a grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Ty

It is with great sadness that I hear the news of Mel's passing. I have many found memories from my days at MSS. May the family find comfort in the memories in their heart and cherish them for years to come.
