King Joseph Chambers  
A resident of Little Current.
Died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on April 3rd, 2014 at the age of 86 .
Born to Alice and Edward Chambers, at  Mechanic Settlement on November 29th, 1927.
Beloved spouse of Pearl (Cosby) (nee Byan).
Loved step father of
Helen (predeceased), husband James Chisholm of Little Current,
Lois & husband Gerry Bond of Little Current,
Phyllis (predeceased) husband Bob Norris of Little Current,
Brenda & husband Brock Chisholm of Rockville,
Russel Cosby & wife Christine of Little Current.
Proud step grandfather of
Kim (predeceased), Bonnie,
Perry, Barbara, Carol,
Valerie, Sharon, Darren,
Stephen, Stacey,
Joshuah, Quinton, Zabrina,
and step great grandfather of 22 and 17 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather at Island Funeral Home April 4th, 2014 from  2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Funeral Service
at Island Funeral Home, Saturday April 5th, 2014 at 1:00pm
Rev. Sherry DeJonge officiating.  
Burial will be at Coldsprings Cemetery later in the spring
Donations to MHC Aux. or Heart & Stroke would be appreciated

we are so sorry to hear of king's passing, he was a great guy.i got to know him many years ago when my sister married his nephew gordon steeves.and later we were very pleased to meet pearl, she was a wonderful addition to kings new brunswick family.we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. god bless!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle King. I have many vivid childhood memories of him at our family cottage in Coe Hill. He was frequently larger than life to me and always a character. My sympathies to his family and loved ones.
