Dear Beatrice and family,
So sorry to hear of Blaine's passing, and quite a shock to me. Were I closer to home, I would have attended the memorial, but it is a 6 day drive from here in Arizona, and my car is here.
I will remember Blaine as one who teased me when we were children, always with a wide grin and so, completely forgivable on my part. I was ALWAYS proud to tell people I had a cousin in the Armed Forces, and what a treat when we (Mom, Lonnie and I) visited you and Blaine in B.C. some years back.
Do know I am thinking of you at this time of sorrow. God Bless.

Bea, Darren, Jeff and families, so sorry to hear of your loss. We have fond memories from North Bay where we first met and from Ottawa. Dave and Blaine were great hunting and fishing buddies and had some "tall tales" to tell. He will be sadly missed.......

Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. Blaine and I shared a cubicle at 1 Canadian Air Division in Winnipeg. He was a terrific guy, I will never forget when he decided enough was enough and retired. He looked so forward to heading back out east to the place he loved. We had some good times and many a good laugh together. He will be missed.
