Carol and family

The loss of a love one is so hard to face,
you just want to hide,
go some where and escape!
But death is something,
we all must go through,
I know it’s hard,
when it’s someone you loved and knew.

Just know now,
he is in a better place,
no more hurt or pain shall he face.
It seems unfair and yes this is true,
but he is in Heaven now
watching over his family and you
God has called him home to rest!!
And he’s being well taken care of
Because God knows best!

our deepest sympathy to a great family who suffered a terrible loss

Your greeting as you meet our car, your "Come on in" hospitality, your seemingly effortless barbque skills as you, along with Carol, treat us to a wonderful dinner, the laughter of all your family, especially your beloved grandchildren whom you love so much, your terrific skills as a builder leaving your legacy all over the island and Georgin Bay and now onward with your sons, your brave fight against this horrific disease. All of these things have inspired all you meet. You will be greatly missed by many Ron. May your wonderful memories comfort you Carol, Darcy, Paul, Robert and families. Special love to Darcy, Heather, Tyler and Tory on this difficult day. Sorry we cannot be there to hug you in person.

To Carol, the love of Ron's life, and Charles his brother, my heart is heavy today wishing I could be with you this afternoon to offer words of comfort and healing hugs. Ron was like the big brother I never had for the few years of my teenage life on the Manitoulin. He may not have known it, but I looked up to him in so many ways. I regret living so far away. Charles, I regret not moving to the Manitoulin and working for Sheppard Brothers. All of you are forever embedded in my heart. Lots of love, Jeff and Susie Gardner.
