Our sympathy to Raymond, Virginia and Violet's siblings and grand children. Violet was a strong woman, venturing out to the U.S.A. at a young age where she worked for many years. When she returned to the Island she picked up like she had never left. She crafted birch bark items, beading, doll making, and quilts. She befriend everyone, lent a helping hand when she was able, and was the life of the party. She loved going to pow-wows and traditional dancing. Everyone knew her by her cowboy hat. She was a wonderful, happy woman. I am glad that I knew her for forty years. Rest In Peace dear soul.
