Died peacefully at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home
on Monday December 2, 2013 at the age of 91.

Mary Adeline Lena Stacey (husband Jeffrey predeceased)
Glen Joseph Wakegijig (Viola)
Karen Theresa Wakegijig (Reginald)
predeceased by Joseph, John, Margaret Lorna, David Alexander Bernard, Valentine Walter Terence, Baby Boy and Baby Boy.
Cherished grandmother of
Twin girls (predeceased) John, Jamie
Christopher (predeceased), Frank, Amanda,
Blayne, Alicia, and Lewis.
And great grandmother of
Tayden, Tate, Ty, Tosh, Tameron,
Blaise, Jarret, Danielle,
Ava and Cierra.
Remembered by husband David Wakegijig
Predeceased by all her siblings.
Philomine was a loved aunt, family member and friend.

Philomine was known for her fine craftmanship, she made many quilts, quill boxes and other birchbark crafts.  She loved cats and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.  Most of all she loved doting on her children and grandkids.  Philomine was a foster mother for years, later she worked for 16 years at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home in the laundry.

We are so sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral. We cherish the memories of pow wows and visits. The beautiful gifts that Aunt Phil gave us will always be treasured - especially the quill box she gave on Jasmine's birth. Love and condolences
