If roses grow in Heaven, Lord pick a bunch for us,
Place them in our Mother’s arms,
And tell her they’re from us.
Tell her we love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek,
And hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
we do it everyday.
But there’s an ache within our hearts,
Because we are missing her today.

In Loving Memory of
Mona Gertrude Gelineau
April 12, 1922-June 3, 2013
On Monday June 3rd, 2013 Mona peacefully passed at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor for seniors in Little Current at the age of 91.

Later she became an overseas telephone operator for Bell Canada.  She relocated to Massey, later moved to Espanola with their three children, Barry, Gerry and Elaine.  She was a sales clerk at Tim Cronin's  Store.  From 1967-1977 Mona owned and operated the Highway Confectionary.  She gratefully appreciated her loyal customers and friends.  She followed this as a security guard at Oshawa Foods in Toronto.  Her favourite pastimes included volunteering for the Sudbury Cancer Society, skiing and snowmobiling.  Mona was a loyal fan of hockey, figure skating and an avid reader of mystery novels.
