R. Marjorie Martin
March 22, 1924-April 13, 2013
“Absent from the body present with Lord”
II Corinthians 5
In loving memory of a wonderful wife and mother Marjorie Martin who passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at Mindemoya Hospital on April 13, 2013.

Beloved wife of Elgin Martin for over 71 years.
Very loving and greatly loved mother of Marie Kirk (husband Harold)

Marjorie is survived by her youngest sister Jean Siberry,
brother in law Rex Ward,
and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her
parents Harvey G. and Ida (Leeson) Arnold
sisters Rhea Ward, Gilda Russell and
brothers in law Grant Russell and Ken Siberry

From a very young age Marjorie worked hard and rarely took time for pleasures.
She enjoyed music, driving her car, attending Sunday School and church, studying the Bible and singing praises to God.

While we’ll no more hear her oft spoken “I love you”, she has left us many cherished memories and a Godly influence.

If so desired memorial donations may be made to Tehkummah Pentecostal Church or charity of your choice.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Tehkummah Pentecostal Church
Funeral Service at the church on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm
Interment at Hilly Grove Cemetery

Elgin and Marie: Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. We enjoyed visiting with all of you over the years. Elgin, we have such fond memories of visiting with you and Marj at the homestead sharing farming stories, spiritual thoughts as studying the Bible together was always a favorite of Marjory. Always a welcoming home with memories of days gone by. Marj was a sweet, caring and loving person. She was tiny but a mighty woman and she carried herself so beautifully while walking upon the face of earth. Sadly missed but fondly remembered always.

Elgin and Marie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom has touched each of our lives in so many
different ways and we know Marg's hugest joy was to make others happy! She was
an incredible woman, so loving, so kind, and so patient. Marg was a hard worker, and took care in everything she did, what a wonderful example. Above all Marg loved God and will be remembered for her obedience and faithfulness to Him.
