In Loving Memory of
Mildred Pauline Sauder
March 18, 1929-January 2, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mildred Sauder (nee White) of Tehkummah on January 2, 2020 at the Centennial Manor in her 92nd year.
She is survived by her brother Raymond White (Betty).
Predeceased by parents George and Pearl White, brother Arlif White, brother Morland White and sister Helen Wark (Lyness).
She will be greatly missed by her sons Dennis White, George Sauder (Loretta), Barry Sauder (Lucy), John Sauder (Kaarina) and Paul Sauder (Traci).
Grandchildren Shawn (Megan), Adam, Carrie (Sean), Mindy, Jeff, Kaitlyn, Matthew (Jennifer), Allyson and Ben (Ashley).
Great grandchildren Brittany (Justin), Avery (Evan), Austin, Brayden, Bradley, Josh, Hannah, Jenna, Jada, Rowan and Charlotte.
Great Great grandchildren Rhylan, Kennedi and Teah.
Dear sister in law of Keitha and Christina White.
Mildred was the most beautiful woman inside and out. She was the most compassionate, caring woman and her greatest treasures in life were her love for her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They brought her the most joy and happiness in life. Everyone knew the love she had for gardening, church and helping others. Mildred's door was always open for anyone. She gave without a second thought and never asked for anything in return.
One of her favourite verses was Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
A private family visitation and service will take place on Thursday January 7, 2021 at the Island Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
A celebration of life and interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be in memory of Mildred to the Manitoulin Centennial Manor Auxillary, 70 Robinson Street, Little Current, Ontario P0P 1K0
or the Daffodil Terrace Lodge, 41 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury, Ontario P3E 5J1

I always enjoyed out visits to the Island and and chance to visit the farm. Aunt Mildred was so welcoming and kind (except when she made me go out to the chickens). I hope you keep her in your memories as I will.

I met Mildred when Gail and I volunteered for the music at the Manor on Thursdays. We loved going down to get Mildred to go to music. Gail and I had a wonderful time when we would go down to visit with Mildred and Ruth on the days we did not volunteer. Mildred was a wonderful lady who always had a smile when you went to see her. She will be missed by many who volunteered at the manor

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mildred loved her boys and their families and her life was spent surrounded by them. She was a lovely, kind and hardworking woman who loved and served the Lord for her lifetime.
We will all miss she smile and thoughtful ways, but we have the assurance that her reward is at hand. I’m sure she’s heard, “Well done, good and faithful servant”

To Mildred"s Family
I think the last time I saw cousin Mildred was at Our White Family Reunion on Manitoulin Island at the Senior Centre in Sheguiandah, I believe Raymond was there as well and we had a great visit. Please know that my family and I are thinking of you and we hope that lots of happy memories will help you all in the days to come.
Sincerely Thelma (Nevills) Bousfield
